Reasons you should not shave your pubic hair
Trimming pubic hair is an intimate choice but many experts feel that shaving pubic hair is simply a misleading attempt at personal hygiene. An increasing number of studies are now advocating against shaving the pubes. We explain it here.
They exist for a purpose
Pubic hair are there for a reason. Being the most sensitive part of our body, it is much prone to rashes and itching. Lack of friction may trigger such reactions, making your pubes vulnerable to infections. Avoid razing or shaving them, and let your pubes serve the purpose they have.
Protection against bacteria
Pubic hair acts as a barrier against unwanted bacteria and infections. Pubic hair also protects you against pathogenic bacteria and dust from getting in. So, it’s wise to leave a healthy amount down there and prevent your vagina from unwanted debris.
